Rachel started in the art world 31 years ago studying Fine Arts at Claremont School of Art.
After three years she moved to Townsville, Qld and completed an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology and Zoology and a Masters Degree in Crustacean Biology. Rachel moved back to Perth 21 years ago where she worked for the WA Museum in the Terrestrial Zoology Department.
In 2004 with her young family she moved to New Caledonia where she rediscovered her passion for art and painting and began working as a Scientific Illustrator for the Secretariat of the Pacific Communities. During her time in New Caledonia she also produced many privately commissioned paintings for international clients. On her return to Perth she continued to paint mostly private commissions and began tattooing in 2010.
Over the past 10 years Rachel has tattooed in many styles. She has developed a large client base and prides herself on listening to her clients and producing custom pieces.
