Four months ago, Myriam Quinn, Peter Campagna and Tury Sicari got together with an idea to depart from their individual projects and tackle one together. Discussion centred around human emotional elements and the idea that surfaced was to pick four interesting but intangible topics and see how each artist would face the challenge. They were to each paint the same four topics with their own interpretation and style by trying to stimulate the viewer without being literal.
‘From the Inside Out’ is a collection of twelve paintings focusing on four topics: Despair, Hysteria, Lust, and Secrecy. The task was very challenging and each topic was tackled so differently by each of the artists. Their approach is one where they have turned the subject inside out trying to meet that challenge.
